katz is a brand born from memory.
The name traces back to my mother, Natacha, affectionately called “Chat” by everyone who loved her. In French, Chat means cat.
In our Austrian roots, that became katz
More than just a nickname, Chat represented everything soft and feline in her. An instinctive femininity, a calm presence, a quiet strength. Growing up, I wore her pieces. I lived inside her style before I could name it. It shaped me.
katz is a continuation. A way to channel that spirit into something crafted, honest, and real. It’s for the girls we are, and the women we become.

Katz exists today as a custom-made couture house, based in Paris.
Each piece is designed and crafted by hand in our Parisian atelier,
in close dialogue with the woman who will wear it.
Inspired by the elegance of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, by the refined silhouettes of 19th-century Vienna, and reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, Katz creations celebrate heritage through modern femininity.
